JFS Films, LLC to Co-Produce Trans-Pacific Flight DocNew York, NY -- December 15, 2005 -- Producer John Schwally announced today that his production unit, JFS Films, LLC, has begun work with Bill Einreinhofer's Paradox Communications on a 2-hour documentary special chronicling early trans-Pacific flight. The program will follow a team of aviation enthusiasts from Wenatchee, Washington as they attempt to recreate the historic first non-stop flight across the Pacific from Misawa, Japan to Wenatchee. In 1931, Clyde Pangborn and Hugh Herndon, Jr. were the first to accomplish the feat. Production is slated to begin in May 2006 with a target broadcast date of early 2007. JFS Films, LLC, is an independent television production company established by veteran PBS Producer and Production Manager John Schwally to create quality television programming for broadcast and cable distribution nationwide and internationally. Currently in production is the documentary Across the Sahara that chronicles the little known story of Pan American Airways -Africa, Ltd. and its contributions to the Allied war effort in World War II. # # #
