AAP/PGA Merger Completed

Schwally and Nugent Named NY Chapter Co-Chairs

Los Angeles, CA -- March 15, 2001--  The American Association of Producers (AAP) and the Producers Guild of America (PGA) have completed the planned merger of these two entertainment industry trade groups into the New Producers Guild of America.  The newer, larger group will be headed by producers Kathleen Kennedy and Tim Gibbons.  The New York Chapter is to be co-chaired by producers John Schwally and Nelle Nugent.  For more information on the merger, see the New PGA website at www.producersguild.org.
