PGA East Announces ElectionsNew York, NY -- June 24, 2002 -- The Producers Guild of America - East Chapter announced today that elections will be held in the fall to determine a chapter Chair and Vice-Chair for 2002-2003. Current Co-Chairs John Schwally, of JFS Films, LLC, and Nelle Nugent of The Foxboro Company, Inc., will step down in October after more than two years as the group’s leaders. JFS Films, LLC, is an independent television production company established by veteran PBS Producer and Production Manager John Schwally to create quality television programming for broadcast and cable distribution nationwide and internationally. Currently in production is the documentary Across the Sahara that chronicles the little known story of Pan American Airways -Africa, Ltd. And its contributions to the Allied war effort in World War II. # # #
